The
Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the second-generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. Early 17th April 1964 introduced as "1964 ½" model of Mustang fans is called, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The model is Ford's third oldest nameplate in production and has undergone several transformations to the current fifth generation.
Mustang created the "pony car" class of the American Automobile sports car-like coupes with long hoods and short rear deck and led to rivals like General Motors, Chevrolet Camaro, AMC Javelin, and Chrysler revised Plymouth Barracuda. And coupes like the Toyota Celica and Mercury Capri which were exported to the United States, inspired.
